This works for the extra missions:

Enter practice level C take-off and fly around, then pause
the game and hold down [T]+[I]+[M]+[E]+[Space bar].

This will allow you accelerate very fast (though you will run
out of fuel faster) and whenever you die you will be
reincarnated in the same place.
